  1. 1. Tickets

    Tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia.

    Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older.

  2. 2. 50/50

    BC Gaming Event Licence #128238

    3 for $10.00; 15000 tickets
    15 for $20.00; 30000 tickets
    40 for $50.00; 64000 tickets

    The 50/50 is a draw where the money received in ticket sales is divided evenly between the winner and the charity.

    Maximum 50/50 payout will be $85,000.00.

  3. 3. Important Dates & Draw Information

    Deadline
    Final ticket sales deadline: July 5, 2021 at 12:00:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw
    50/50 draw: July 5, 2021 at 11:30:00 a.m. PDT

    Draw will be held at 930 Forshaw Road Victoria, BC

    The winning ticket is drawn using Random Number Generator software (RNG). 

    All members of the public are welcome to attend the draw.

    Winners will be posted online at https://tumourfoundation.rafflenexus.com/winners on July 5, 2021.

  4. 4. Winner

    Winner will be contacted by phone by the Tumour Foundation of BC.

    Winners consent to release of their names by licensee.

    If a winning ticket bears a minor's name, the prize will be lawfully delivered to the minor's parent, legal guardian or trustee.

    No tickets will be purchased by the Board of Directors of the Tumour Foundation of BC or employees involved with the conduct and management of the ticket raffle.

Cause

The Tumour Foundation of BC has been supporting individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis for almost four decades. Neurofibromatosis, or NF as it is known for short, is a genetic condition that causes tumours to grow on the nerves throughout the body. These tumours are often inoperable and can cause complications such as disfigurement, bone deformities, hearing loss, vision impairment, learning disabilities, and cancer. NF affects more than 2.5 million people worldwide, making it more common that Duchenne muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis, and Huntington’s disease combined. Through our support, education, and research programs we are working to optimize the health and well-being for people diagnosed with NF across the province.
